Self editor-in-chief Lucy Danziger elected President of ASME

The American Society of Magazine Editors announced its officers for the year, naming Self editor Lucy Danziger its president. Also new elected officers were Rosemary Ellis, editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping, as vice-president; Mark Jannot, editor-in-chief of Popular Science and Science Illustrated, as secretary; and James Bennet, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, as treasurer. All officers are eligible for reelection at the end of the year.
